Account
creation:
Sometimes when a new email account is created,
it may not pick up the emails, or appear not to respond. If you quit the application
(Mail Menu>Quit), then reopen it, is should start working.
Account
deletion:
If you delete an email account, it can also delete all the email that account
has downloaded currently stored in the inbox (mailbox). To get round this, create
a new folder and drag the emails to there before removing the account.
Emails
stuck on server:
A common issue on all versions of the Mail application, is where after copying
the emails over from the server, they are not deleted, but continue to build
up in the mailbox on the server. To resolve this, go to the Mail menu>Preferences>Accounts
icon. Highlight the account, and go into the 'Advanced' tab, then click on the
button called 'Delete Now'. unfortunately you may have to do this every few
days to keep on top of things.
